The 31st Annual Northern Rockies Folk Festival * August 1 and 2, 2008.
Radney Foster and The Gourds headline the 31st Annual Northern Rockies Folk Festival in Hailey, Idaho, on August 1 and 2, 2008.
Joining them for the weekend is an array of high energy artists including the veteran quartet Marley’s Ghost and Steelhead Redd.
Area groups receiving rave reviews and guaranteed to make dancers kick off their shoes are Cheryl Mae Grace, Finn Riggins, The Damphools, Jeremiah James Band, and the Kim Stocking Band.
The Festival was voted the Valley’s Best Annual Event in a 2008 Readers’ Poll. Your whole family is invited to join the rest of our community for a cheerful, laid back weekend in the Wood River Valley. Surrounded by amazing natural beauty, Hailey City Park has always been a special place for outdoor summer concerts. Bring your own picnic basket or come hungry--foodbooths will show off local cuisine.
Admission is $25 at the gate, $23 in advance, and is good for both days. Kids under 12 are free.
